Will act in the capacity of an application lead and software engineer to actively participate in the definition, design, development, testing and implementation of software functionality. Develop in-depth knowledge of several clients business processes and systems environment. Create or modify complex programs, modules, routines, scripts and data objects from a detailed design where efficiency, performance and reliability are critical. Work with and advise both business and technology teams (internal and external) on how best to implement desired features and enhancements. Contribute to technical strategy, application platform design and technical specifications as required so as to ensure that solutions integrate seamlessly with existing technologies and applications. Ensure that technical solutions follow best practices, are reliable, are easily maintainable and are scalable under sustained load. Participate in design and code reviews. Collaborate to identify, isolate and resolve malfunctions related to software. Conduct knowledge transition on solutions to the designated application support team(s).Assist in planning/addressing the organic growth and use of application platforms. Create and evolve application documentation as required. Operate in compliance with IT standards, policies, procedures, and best practices. Extensively work on Java technologies which requires robust and in depth understanding of Java. Work on Java Enterprise Edition libraries such as Java Servlets, Java Server Pages (JSP) and Java Message Service (JMS) etc.

Requires:

Masters Degree in Computer science, Engineering, MIS or equivalent field plus one year experience in software development lifecycle which includes writing complex SQL queries and stored procedures using Oracle PLSQL, Java and Spring MVC framework. Must have skills with front end GUI technologies such as JQuery, ReactJS, AngularJS, HTML5 and CSS3.
