Will act in the capacity of a Software Engineer and Full Stack Java Developer to actively participate in the planning, design and development of applications using Java, Spring, Spring Boot and Hibernate. Develop the user interface pages using Angular 5/7 and backend services using Restful Webservices with Jax-RS libraries to transfer the data between multiple applications. Integrate Angular UI Applications and Back End Rest APIs and Package and deploy these applications on to Tomcat and JBoss web servers. Containerize the Docker images to cloud environments. Implement functionality and code review with all team members to make sure all tasks are developed according to best practices and requirements. Manage and define new backlog stories to document new requirements; select and prioritize backlog stories to support the current Release Schedule and assign them to the product improvement committee for review. Oversee and coordinate the development of changes approved by the product improvement committee; lead product development projects for new releases, patches and hot fixes. Supervise and provide production support answering technical questions from internal stakeholders, prospects and end-users. Research and propose new technologies and ensure continuous improvement of product to support the strategy for the product direction approved by the product improvement committee. Oversee product usage and reports showing how the product is being used by end users; share the reports with the product improvement committee to drive the product roadmap.

REQUIREMENTS:

This position requires a Masters Degree in Computer Science, Engineering or related field with 2 years experience Spring, Hibernate, Restful Web Services, HTML, CSS, Javascript, SQL, Apache Spark, Apache Kafka, Tomcat and Selenium Testing.
