Type: Full time Expected Start Date: 08/29/2019 Compensation: $85,000-$95,000/ year plus benefits
Develop with Teradata and other applications like TPT Utilities, BTEQ’s, MLOAD,
FLOAD, FASTEXPORT etc. Develop applications to Ingest and Export data to/from Big Data environment using
various applications like HDFS, Hive, Sqoop, Map Reduce, and internal Comcast
Framework etc. Develop with Informatica Cloud to integrate data from/to Cloud applications like
Salesforce from/to on-premise databases like Teradata, Wave Analytics, Oracle, Flat
Files etc. Develop with Informatica Power Center to perform various - Extract Transform Load
(ETL) operations on different operational data sources. Work with Business Analysts and customers to understand and validate end-user
requirements in accordance with business need. Create technical designs to achieve
project requirements. Complete development/programming tasks as described in
design specifications. Prepare unit test plans and execute unit testing. Participate in system and user
acceptance testing tasks as assigned. Provide end-user support for assigned
applications. Perform tuning and optimization of complex SQL queries using Teradata
Explain. Provide day to day production support of data warehouse BI environment. Apply
metrics to monitor performance and measure key project criteria. Responsible for
Collecting Statistics on FACT tables.
Document the project implementation steps and
share it with client teams. Report project status to
Client, Vendor and Contrive Solutions
management. Attend trainings in new
technologies for career advancement
Qualifications Bachelor Degree in a Computer Science or related technical discipline, or the equivalent combination of education, technical certifications or training, or work experience. 3 - 5 years in IT, HTML5, CSS3, Angular JS, JavaScript and AJAX. Excellent problem solving and analytical skills Excellent written and oral communication skills Strong organizational, analytical, and collaborative skills Additional Benefits:
