Work
with client, business customers and their representatives to understand the
software requirements. Plan,
design, develop software solutions based on the requirements. Code
and test the developed/modified code. Prepare
implementation plans and support production implementation. Develop
scenarios for testing BI functional area and review of these scenarios with
Business teams. Work
on Teradata, Oracle stored procedures, triggers and table partitions. Automate
the tasks using shell, bash scripting. Develop
and work on various BTEQ/SQL scripts, making changes to already existing
scripts using SQL Assistant, BTEQ. Document the project implementation steps and share it with client teams. Report project status to Client, Vendor and Contrive
Solutions management. Attend training in new technologies for career advancement. Provide KT and train new hires at client
teams and Contrive
Solutions as needed. Provide peer review
for complicated projects and suggest solutions for other client projects at Contrive Solutions. Qualifications Bachelor Degree in a Computer Science or related technical discipline, or the equivalent combination of education, technical certifications or training, or work experience. 6- 7 years in IT, Teradata tools and Utilities , SQL, Linux and ERWIN.
