Installing
and Configuring IBM DataStage V11.5 in a variety environments, including development,
product verification (test), Performance, plan verification (UAT), deployment
(staging) and production Migrating
DataStage jobs (approximate 5,000 – 6,000) from the current development
environment (DataStage v8.5) into new development environment Ensuring
all migrated jobs behave in the same manner as they do in the current
development environmen Providing
assistance during the code deployment/testing phases of the higher environments Do
the routine system Administration and maintenance. Do error handling and
performance tuning. Perform
unit testing & system testing. Checking that all the system parameters
are properly defined before starting the production runs. Document
the project implementation steps and share it with client teams. Report
project status to Client, Vendor and Contrive Solutions management. Attend
trainings in new technologies for career advancement. Provide
KT and train new hires at client teams and contrive solutions as needed. Provide
peer review for complicated projects and suggest solutions for other client projects
at Contrive Solutions.
Qualifications Bachelor Degree in a Computer Science or related technical discipline, or the equivalent combination of education, technical certifications or training, or work experience. 2- 3 years in IT, HTML5, Linux, solaris,CSS3, SQL and Shell and PhythonScripting . Excellent problem solving and analytical skills Excellent written and oral communication skills Strong organizational, analytical, and collaborative skills Additional Benefits:
